Dadvengers Podcast Episode 21 – Patrick Hutchinson
It’s Dadvengers Podcast episode 21 – Patrick Hutchinson! The Dadvengers Podcast returns with series three, and this week’s guest is nothing short of a legend! Patrick is a father of four, grandfather of four and fitness enthusiast. He is most well-known as an equal rights activist. His image is one of the most recognised from the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, after the photo of Patrick carrying and anti-BLM protestor to safety went viral.
Patrick chats to us about how his parenting has changed over the years. From starting out at 20 years old with his now 31 year old son, to now parenting his 10 year old daughter. We also delve into the Black Lives Matter protest, what happened that day and how it has changed his life. We also talk about his book, his work with underprivileged children, the impact of growing up without a father, and he answers some questions from our listeners!
Hearing from Patrick about how he has evolved over his parenting journey is a must for all parents. It goes to show that we are all always learning and changing as parents. And hearing about the Black Lives Matter protest from the man who was in the midst of it is a true inspiration.
We are so thankful to Patrick for being a great guest, and a great Dadvenger. Welcome to the team Patrick!
