Dadvengers Spotify Playlists
Welcome to the Dadvengers Spotify Playlists page! Here you will find all of our playlists for your listening or sharing pleasure. All the songs on the playlists have been chosen by you, our loyal Dadvengers community via Instagram Polls. There are a few ideas behind these playlists but one of them should be mentioned as they touch upon something Dadvengers is supporting people with. Music is a great healer and with our mental health being something we believe all of us should take care and be aware of, we wanted you to have these playlists for whenever you need them. For moments when you’re down for moments when you’re lonely for any moment you need. And please remember there is all sorts of mental health support throughout this website.
A huge thank you to those who have already taken part in curating these lists.
There are new lists being added all the time. So make sure you keep an eye on our Insta stories to add your flavour into the mix.

We all love to throw some shapes on the dance floor from time to time. Even if it’s just some dad dancing. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to show us your best moves with this dance playlist that will have the party dancing through the night!
Get your rock appreciation fingers out🤘 because we are about to take it there. Featuring some of your favourite bands including Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and more. Be careful though, we will not be held responsible for any damage you may cause. 😜
UK Garage Playlist
Do you really like it? Is it is it wicked? Well we are lovin’ it, lovin’ it, lovin’ it! This one brings back some of those late 90’s/early noughties bangers from the club.
What a time! What a record label! We were very strict with this one and if it wasn’t put out on the Motown record label we didn’t include it. The big names are here though. Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes. The golden era!
One of the more popular decades we all have a song from this era that we have sung at the top of our voices at a party. and here are the dadvengers community favourites. From Toto, to Bon Jovi, to Queen it’s all here. Stick this one on at your next party!
If you in need of some calming yet mentally stimulating music our Classical playlist might be just the thing you need. It is said that listening to classical music can calm your mood. Consequently it can also help to decrease your heart rate and anxiety.
As parents most of us will be subjected to Disney songs at some point during our journey. Thing is, there are some absolute classics out there and these are your favourites.
Drum ‘n Bass
This one was difficult to curate. The genre has gone through so many stages and has it’s own set of micro genres, that some tough call had to be made. We got there in the end and seem to have encompassed all sides. Well done team!
The Dadvengers community’s favourite pop songs. A list that will get any party off to a great start. All the chart toppers are here because if it didn’t make the top 40 at some point it just wasn’t pop enough for us.
As the Godfather of Soul once said, “Bobby…I don’t know. But whatever I play, it’s got to be funky!” And funky this playlist is. Including The Ojays, Cameo and Funkadelic.
With so many sub genres this was a tough one to curate. Nominations dipped into rock and pop but we stayed strong and the resulting list is a collection of indie tracks that spans about 30years. A great addition to our Dadvengers Spotify Playlists.
This playlist will transport you back to the golden age of Swing and band music with classics from Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr and more.
Songs from Movies
We’ve all got them! Songs that have been immortalised in our minds and all because of their use within our favourite films. Songs that have enhanced heightened emotions, added tension, and increased excitement. From Rocky, to Pulp Fiction, to Days of Thunder there are some classics in this list. Question is can you name them all?
When this much loved genre of music is referred to there is one name that always bubbles to the top. Bob Marley is a legend and has done more for reggae than anyone else but our favourite thing about curating this list was the fact that we put a cap of 5 Marley tracks in place meaning we got more diversity in the artists.
This was a difficult one. There are so many folk sub genres that we didn’t we didn’t want things to get confusing. We had to be strict but what we got in the end is a coherent folk playlist. Although we may have to create another playlist for the sub genres.
There is nothing like seeing your favourite artists live. And sometimes the versions you hear at a gig become the best versions of the song. That’s what this list is about. Incredible live versions of our favourite songs.
80’s Hip Hop
What and iconic genre! Often called the ‘Golden Age’ of Hip Hop the artists , the subject matter, the clothes, and the dancing cannot be mistaken. The songs in this list paved the way for some of the collaborations, mash ups and and general music experimentation that we see today.
Bring on the cheese fest! What is you favourite boyband song? That’s what we asked our community when curating this list and boy did they rise to the challenge. And like many of the Dadvengers Spotify Playlists make sure you’re in full singing voice when listening to this one.
One Hit Wonders
This is it a list of your favourite hits that saw us fall in love with an artist only for them only to disappear into oblivion and never be see in the top 40 again. Let’s not feel too sorry for these artists though, many of the smart ones have had comfortable lives because of just 1 song.
Remember remember the 31st of October!! Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand, and creatures crawl in search of blood to terrorise your neighbourhood. A great list for your halloween party.
Just because we are dads doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate a good girlband. Who doesn’t love to sing at the top of their voice to The Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, Girls Aloud and The Sugar Babes? Come on we all do it! 😉
In the late 80’s after the explosion of Hip Hop, a sub genre speaking about the lifestyles and experiences of American gang gang culture emerged. Gangsta Rap birthed stars such as N.W.A, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Biggie.
No amalgamation of playlists would be complete without a Christmas selection. The question is whether your favourite Christmas crooner is on here. Who would you go for? Bublé, The Pogues, East 17, or would you just want a little Maria Carey?
Best of 2021
What a year 2021 was! We were still getting used to the world after Covid 19 but it did feel like music was one of the things that wasn’t affected. Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and many more dropped bangers!
This was actually pretty tough to curate because we didn’t want covers. What we ended up with is an electic selection of well know tracks that have been done a little differently. Let us know your favourites.
A good song can add everything to a TV show. Whether it’s the theme music or a mood setter that repeats through a series it can make or break a show for some people.
For Valentines Day we thought we’d put together a playlist to help you with that loving feeling. And looking at what we got you all get down in different ways. Luckily we’re only privy to your musical choices and nothing else.
Keep an eye on our Instagram stories to find out what the next playlist is and you can submit your own selection to help us collaborate it.
