Subjects: On this Dad Chats session we discussed the most important things we should be teaching our kids. As we do with all our chats we broke the topics into 3 areas.
- One thing your parents told you that actually came true. Our parents always claimed to be giving us such sound advice, but half the time we didn’t listen. Looking back, which golden nuggets should we have listened to?
- If you could teach your children one thing that would stick in their minds, what would it be and why?
- Our light hearted topic is one we visited before but we’re sure we have some new stories to hear. Times our kids have embarrassed us in public.
What matters most?
Two of the most important things when teaching our kids are; how we communicate, and ensuring their wellbeing. These two things alone will enable us as parents to raise well rounded children.
