Great Gift Ideas for Dad on Father’s Day 2022

4 Mins read

It’s that time of year again folks! Father’s Day is just around the corner and we’re here to help you find some great gift ideas for dad this father’s day. As we search for the perfect gift we often fall back on the old faithful’s, which is why at this time of year sales for wallets, socks and beer sky rocket. But is that what dad’s really want…? We explored this in last years father’s day post and still stand by what we said. However, for those of you still searching for gifts, we’ve teamed up with Menkind to help you find some great gift idea’s that the dad in your life will love. Whether your dad is a foodie, loves a bit of tech, or enjoys a Friday night drink… we have got some great father’s day gift choices for you to choose from:

BBQ Tool Set

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know, I love a BBQ! And if you have a BBQing dad in your family this could be the perfect gift! I don’t know what the reason is, maybe it’s because fire is involved, maybe it’s because it outdoors. Whatever it is, many man gravitate to this ages old activity and this set could make the task even more enjoyable. There are 14 tools in this case, including tongs, fork, multi-turner, brush, and kebab skewers. Any BBQ mad dad would appreciate this gift. In fact, I may even share this one with my kids and see if they get the hint 😜. We’d all rather get something we actually like right?

Hairy Bikers Double Deep Fill Pie Maker

Who ate all the pies, who ate all the pies?! With this gift it won’t matter because dad will easily be able to make some more. This pie maker makes the art of pastry-packing incredibly easy. All you have to do is cut the pastry using the included pastry-cutting template, pop the pastry in the pie maker. Fill it with whatever you’re in the mood for, and letting it cook for 10 to 15 minutes. At 10cm deep pies made with this are delicious and surprisingly filling! Any wannabe chef will be proud to own this, and it comes with the Hairy Biker seal of approval so you know it’s going to be great!

Mini Whiskey Barrel

For some fathers drinking whiskey is time honoured right of passage. A pass time held in the highest esteem that they pass on to their children once they are old enough and wise enough to partake. I personally am not a big fan of whiskey but If the dad in your life loves a whiskey, this is a great gift idea. This small and sweet whiskey barrel is made from wood, and holds up to 800ml of whiskey. It will add that extra bit of finesse to every pour and have the recipient bursting with pride. Just fill it with his favourite, and dad will be kept happy for weeks!

Hybrid Engine Model

Does the dad you are thinking of like cars? Does he like to build things? If he does this is a very cool gift that will feed both interests This model has over 100 parts that the dad in your life will need to put together to make a working engine. The hybrid engine is a simplified illustration of a four-cylinder internal combustion/hybrid system and it illustrates the internal combustion and electric-only functions of a conventional hybrid system. All tools needed to complete the build are

Beard Buddy

If the dad in your life has a great beard – this could be the gift for him! We know some dad’s aren’t great at clearing up those trimmed beard hairs – and that can sometimes drive the family mad! So why not treat him to this nifty beard buddy which will collect those tiny hairs for him?! He’ll be able to trim his beard in minutes, while keeping your bathroom tidy, and avoiding stray hairs from invading your bathroom and clogging your sink. Win win all around.

Fizzics DraftPour Home Beer Tap

Gift ideas for dad don’t come much better than this. It’s one for the beer lovers who don’t want to go to the pub to get it on draft! You just put in a can or bottle and the tap does the work. Now we know this won’t make any difference to the taste but it will definitely start some conversations when dad is pouring for his guests. Just imagine the pride on his face as he pours the perfect pint at a dinner party or BBQ! Perfect for those sunny summer weekends coming up.

Personalised Father’s Day Toblerone

For the dad’s with a sweet tooth, this a great gift! Who says mum’s have the monopoly on chocolate. My dad is very partial to a bit of chocolate and Toblerone is definitely one of his favourites. The fact that you can make things extra special by personalising it, will be the icing on the cake. Dad may even ask you how you managed to get it done, and whether you have friends in high places. We would advise you roll with that explanation. We won’t tell anyone if you don’t. 😜
