Dad Chats Live – Talking About Parents and Health

1 Mins read

Subject:  This week, we are talking about whether bring a parent has lead us to live healthier lives, the do’s and don’ts if our kids have an accident , and daddy triumphs.

In this Dad Chats we jumped into our health as parents. Have you become more aware of your health now you’re a parent? Do you eat better? Have you quit smoking or started a fitness regime? Or has it gone the other way, and are you so focussed on your child’s health that you forget your own? We talked all aspect of health as parents and loved getting stuck into this topic!

Next up we chat the do’s and don’ts if our kids have accidents. We were joined by Daisy from @daisyfirstaidsouthend to talk first aid when our kids hurt themselves. I think we all know that feeling when our kid takes a tumble, our heart jumps and we rush to assess the damage. We spoke to Daisy to get some great tips for dealing with those accidents at home.

Last up we talk dad triumphs! We wanted to hear about the times you got it right! The times everything came together and things went perfectly. We need to celebrate our triumphs just as much as we laughed at our fails!

Topics we covered:

  1. Has becoming a parent made us more healthy or health conscious?
  2. The do’s and don’ts if our kids have accidents.
  3. Dad Triumphs
